Community service, Simplified

1. Creating and Managing Your Account:

• Joining an Organization: When you join the GoodOrg community, you can either create an account with an existing organization or establish a new organization where you'll be designated as the admin.

• Editing Your Profile: Update your profile picture, name, and bio through the settings tab located on your profile page. Admins can also manage their organization’s settings from this tab.

• Deleting an Account: If you choose to delete your account, this can be done through the settings tab. If an admin deletes their account, the longest-standing member of the organization will automatically be promoted to admin. An organization profile will be deleted if there are no remaining members.

Note: Currently, new organizations are limited to the Basic Plan, which allows up to 5 users and the ability to track up to 5 services. A Premium Plan with unlimited members and service tracking will be available soon!

2. Tracking Your Community Service:

• Logging Your Service: Use the Share page to log a community service or donation of goods by entering the service details and submitting them.

• View Your Contributions: All your logged services will appear on your profile page and your organization’s feed. Your total hours and services are tracked individually, allowing you to easily view your cumulative contributions. These totals are also added to your organization’s overall service metrics.

3. Exploring Your Organization’s Activities:

• Home Page: The Home page gives you a complete overview of your organization’s activities.

  • Postings Tab: View all the services logged by your organization, including details such as images, service recipients, service types, and user descriptions.

  • Members Tab: Access a profile card for your organization that displays total contributed hours, member details, and organization information. Each member also has an individual profile card showcasing their activities and contributions.

• Export to CSV: GoodOrg makes reporting effortless with its “Export to CSV” feature. Export your organization’s services and activities for external reporting or record-keeping with just a click!
